Situation:  Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) needed enhanced visibility into their vehicle portfolio, and wanted to be able to make faster, more accurate decisions regarding the portfolio.  In addition, it was important to give their franchise dealers the tools they need to buy digitally with confidence and ease – integrated Vehicle Detail Pages with powerful factory build data, condition reporting, direct single-sign on links to AutoCheck and CARFAX history reports, and real time transportation quotes.  PCNA looked to RMS Automotive to take their upstream program to the next level.

Approach: RMS Automotive developed the Porsche Drive platform for PCNA, which allows PCNA to better manage their off-lease vehicle pricing, listings, grounding, facilitate multiple sales transactions via the new digital sales platform, as well as provide enhanced reporting and visibility to their entire vehicle portfolio.

Results:  Over 8,800 vehicles have been grounded since launch March 2015 with nearly 6,000 of those purchased before even going to a physical auction.
